Surat, Gujarat, India 2025
We were excited to complete our first medical/surgical mission in the city of Surat at the Shree Prannath Hospital. Our team of 16 volunteers, represented Pennsylvania, New York, New Hampshire, Arizona, Indiana and included 3 international volunteers from New Zealand and India.
Our three surgical teams, PACU team and supporting volunteers completed 86 procedures during our visit, helping many Surat laborers and their families, who lack health insurance, live in poor conditions and have limited access to basic healthcare. We are thankful for the help we were able to provide and grateful for the experience, and look forward to an eventual return.
