Good Morning from sunny Khambhat!
We are pleased to report that the camp is running well. The Op Med volunteers and hospital staff are “in their groove” as though they have worked together for years. Local staff has done a marvelous job organizing the camp and screening patients. At the close of day Monday, we have completed 47 cases and the list for today and the rest of the week is bountiful!
As with prior camps, there are an abundance of hernias, hemorrhoids, and hysterectomies to be attended to as well as scar revisions and burn contractures. The entire team is staying very busy.
