January 8, 2017 – Welcome Dr. Nitin K. Tanna to Operation Medical

Joining Operation Medical for his first mission trip with us is Dr. Nitin K. Tanna, the Chief of Breast Imaging/ Lancaster Radiology Associates, LTD/ Susan H. Arnold Center for Breast Health/Lancaster General Health. There are limited opportunities for breast cancer screening in many areas of India and Valsad is no exception. Compared to the common use of mammograms in the U.S. helping to detect cancer at earlier stages, it’s often a more advanced disease when it is diagnosed in this area.

Nitin is tremendously excited to be going to a region of India where he can not only utilize his professional skills, but also his interpersonal, cultural and language skills. He enjoys traveling and learning about the world and all the different cultures. Welcome to the team Dr. Tanna!
