Gerri Shettle, BS MT(ASCP), CLS(NCA) is a clinical laboratory scientist previously employed by Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, PA for over 30 years. Her responsibilities there included charge technologist in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Toxicology, Coagulation studies, Urinalysis, Microbiology, and specimen processing. She is currently the Laboratory Supervisor at Patient First in Mechanicsburg, an urgent care facility providing first line care to the community. She works in the lab each day providing critical test results to our providers, compassionate interactions with our patients, and oversees the operations and functions of the lab.

This will be her 5th mission trip, and her first to India! Previously she has traveled to Pierre Payan Hospital in Montrouise, Haiti. In her spare time, she enjoys church activities, traveling, reading, baking, and gardening; but most importantly spending time with my amazing family and friends, and furry yellow lab. She shared that she feels honored and blessed to be provided the opportunity for mission work abroad – helping humanity in loving, life-changing ways –made possible with medical care, smiles, and hugs! She is super excited and looking forward to helping the people of India.
