December 19, 2014 — It’s That Time of the Year. Preparations are in Full Swing!

As preparations are being made for a wide variety of multinational festivals and holidays celebrated around the world, so to at Operation Medical, preparations are well underway as tireless volunteers gather at our warehouse in Harrisburg to pack bags filled with medical supplies to be transported by the 2017 Valsad, India Mission Team members in just 33 days. We’ve checked our list twice and to date we have packed a total of approximately 600 pounds of medical supplies in suitcases, and these bags are ready to be distributed to our team members. Additionally, several large boxes of supplies for the mission camp have been packed, and are on their way via shipment to our destination.

Today we share the list of volunteers that will be giving of their time and finances to travel to the other side of our globe to reach out and provide medical care to the underserved in the community of Valsad. Thirty-two in all will make the journey. Mission work ‘gets in your blood’ and in fact, 1/3 of our 2017 team made this very same trip in 2014 (highlighted by an * by their names).
