Everyone is busy packing their personal bags, checking their medical supply bags and eagerly anticipating arriving at Lions Hospital in Mehsana later this week. Today’s post wraps up introductions to our fantastic nursing team:

Diane Klescewski, RN is a Clinical Skills Nursing Instructor at Harrisburg Area Community College and has almost 10 years of experience as an operating room nurse. She is also a Captain in the Army Reserves and served as a volunteer on Op Med’s 2014 surgical mission to Malawi. Diane has been a great help to the Warehouse volunteers packing for the 2014 Malawi and the 2015 India missions. Thank you Diane and welcome back to the front line.

Karen Figueroa, RN has over seven years of experience in perioperative nursing. She currently works at AYA Healthcare – Sharp Grossmont Women’s Center in San Diego, California. Her experience spans a broad spectrum of surgical specialties including cardiac, orthopedics, general, plastics/reconstructive, gynecology, trauma and neurosurgery services. Operation Medical is happy to have Karen join us on our 2015 India mission.

Joanna McLean hails from Etters, Pa. She is currently an RN working in the PACU at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, PA. She has 18 years of practical experience in hospital and Endoscopy settings and has always wanted to participate in a medical mission trip. She hopes to make a difference in people’s lives by easing their pain or making their lives a little bit easier. Welcome to Op Med Joanna!
