A Spirit of Giving

Bansari Mandalia is a Registered Nurse at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, PA where she works in the Telemetry Care Unit. Next week starts her third trip with Operation Medical when she will care for patients in our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Bansari joined the OP Med in January of 2014 in Valsad, India and again in October of 2014 in Lilongwe, Malawi where she worked in PACU as well.

Beyond her desire to make a difference in the world with her medical skills, she is an accomplished Bharatanatyam artist. Bansari is the Founder and Director of the Shree Academy of Arts in Mechanicsburg, PA where she conducts intensive training in Bharatanatyam dancing. This classical Indian dance form is known for its grace, purity, tenderness, and sculpturesque poses. Ms. Mandalia organized an event in December, 2014 where she and her students showcased their skills and delighted the audience. Additionally, she donated all proceeds to Operation Medical. We extend our sincerest gratitude to Bansari for her generous efforts and volunteerism.
